Splunk
Senior PM for the Infra/SRE and Compliance teams for Splunk’s Observability product where I solved problems for internal and external users.
Helping Developers Squash Bugs Faster
At Splunk, I was hired to their new product called Splunk Observability (O11Y) which was an aggregation of 7 startups combined into one suite. This brought many challenges with backend and services for which I was hired to unify.
Along with the ownership of the infrastructure, I was leading the SRE and Compliance teams to grow our customer base in the public sector and obtain FedRAMP moderate and SOC2 compliance.
I had a mix of internal and external customers, worked cross-functionally, led our review meetings for our team for the greater O11Y organization, conducted many demo sessions for sales and customers with an average of 400 people per session, led efforts to unify O11Y’s platform with Splunk, and planned pivoted our roadmaps to align with customer needs and O11Y’s broader vision.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Achieved a 0% outage rate for Splunk Observability for the first time since launch by designing automated, auto-scaled Kubernetes load clusters based on trends identified from over 70 customer interviews.
Executed 6 new product features, leading to a 23% boost in platform efficiency and a 19% rise in user satisfaction, through strategic roadmaps and cross-functional collaboration.
Launched enablement of PrivateLink for product features, reducing AWS egress costs by up to 93% per user by conducting technical enablement sessions for global sales teams, increasing EMEA conversion rates from 2.3% to 79.6% and APAC from 13% to 88.5% from AWS native users.
