At Healthgrades, I was a Data Analyst turned Product Owner for their Enterprise Data Platform where I worked with customers to improved data and insights.

Data Standards for Powerful Insights

Healthgrades is a health tech company that has developed a tool to locate the best healthcare providers for users and help healthcare providers connect to users who need medical care.

I was hired to improve data match rates for their new Enterprise Data Platform. Concurrently with my data analysis duties, my manager wanted me to take on more product owner/product manager roles regarding Data Quality in which I had monthly meetings with the CTO, VPs, legal, marketing, engineering, and product to standardize our data on the new platform. Match rates increased from 22% to 79%.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Created data ingestion standards that led to an 86% reduction in manual ETL tickets over 4 months as a member of the company's Board of Data Quality.

  • Executed strategic A/B testing and refined match rules, leading to a 57% improvement in match rates over six months, utilizing SQL on Snowflake and Kafka.
